We are happy to add another local woman-owned business to feature this week!

NEW: Thick-Cut Pork Chops!
2Lady Farmers chops are now available in 2-inch cuts

2Lady Farmers

We are proud to support farmers Patsy Oshiro and Stacy Sugai, the two ladies behind 2Lady Farmers of Waianae. Their pork is in our Meat Lovers’ Box and also available a la carte.

Their mission is “to provide locally raised pork to Hawaii, help make Hawaii a little more sustainable, and pave the way for the next generation of pig farmers.” Stacy says you can taste the difference in their locally raised and processed pork: “We treat our pigs humanely and without stress. Less stress means less stress hormones which translates into better quality meat.” (You can hear more from her in this cooking segment.)

The Indigenous Soap Company

We are thrilled to add these locally made soaps to our offerings! After all, you need clean hands before you can get started cooking (or eating)!

The Indigenous Soap Company is an Oahu-based business owned by Love Chance. She’s been making soap for more than 15 years, with a mission of picking ingredients according to “what is local, organic, or highest grade. We combine these herbs and oils in our soaps. We take no short cuts in our fine ingredients.”

Love Child
This soap is made with the purest oils, local hibiscus and white ginger flowers, just for the gentle skin of our little ones.

Aina
Aina Soap is the first soap created by the Indigenous Soap Company. Olena (turmeric), laukahi (plantain), kukui nut oil, comfrey and aloe have all been added to bring your skin back to life.

$8/5-ounce bar
