Originally a purveyor of European meat products, the company was founded as Gourmet Foods Inc. in the mid-1980s by a group of former Hawaii hotel executive chefs who saw a need for value-added products. In 1993, our father, Peter Dudgeon, spun off Gourmet Foods Hawaii to exclusively service the Aloha State. Since then, we have introduced a variety of high-end and specialty product lines, such as truffles, foie gras, chocolate, vegan and gluten-free items. We bring in a wide range of ingredients and items from international cuisines and are proud to seek out products that are natural, minimally processed and sustainably sourced.
